Philosophy

The feel of bread dough 
       catharsis of dicing, mincing, chopping,
       aroma of basil,
       hue of an eggplant,
       flavor of sweet cream, freshly whipped,
       laughter filling the kitchen, 
                       spilling over into other rooms of the house.

It is not just food. 

Or fuel. 
It is an experience of sensation, 
                                       perception, 
                                       participation.
